The Women Protests in Iran

The Institute on Religion and Democracy and its publication, Providence, will be hosting Mariam Memarsadeghi to discuss the recent protests in Iran in the IRD office (1023 15th St NW, Suite #200, Washington, DC 20005) on February 23, 2023, with a reception beginning at 6:00 PM ET and the lecture itself beginning at 6:30 PM ET.

Mariam Memarsadeghi is a leading advocate for a democratic Iran, the founder and director of the Cyrus Forum, the co-founder of Tavaana: E-Learning Institute for Iranian Civil Society, and a frequent writer who has been published in such outlets as the The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and Newsweek.
