The Future of African Methodism

Come join the Institute on Religion and Democracy for a talk on May 31 at 6:30 PM ET with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Kulah, a seminary president, UMC minister and leader of the Africa Initiative, on the role that African Christianity plays in the developing Methodist split, as well as why African Christianity is inherently traditional and at odds with progressive Western Christianity.

The event will be preceded by a reception at 6:00 PM ET, during which refreshments and opportunities to socialize will be made available. All invitees are encouraged to bring guests!
